"One of the biggest things I gained was confidence. I’m now much more comfortable going out with my camera and trying different ideas, especially around Wellington, where there’s so much variety. This has also helped me start developing my own photography direction under the name Capture the Capital, focusing on real moments and locations around the city."

When I started this course, I had a decent camera but didn’t really know how to get the best out of it. Like a lot of people, I was relying on auto settings and hoping for the best. I wanted to properly understand photography and be able to take photos with purpose rather than just luck.
