Jazz Dance Workshop for adults!!!

When: 3 and 4 May
Time: 3-5pm
Where: Yama Yoga Studio, Garvey’s location
Cost: 250 QR for both days or 150 QR for one day
Registration deadline: Sunday, 28 April

*Pre-registration is a MUST! Register by emailing [email protected] by or calling 974- 617-5802 and you must drop off your pre-payment for registration to be guaranteed. There must be a minimum of 5 dancers each day to run the workshop (so bring your friends!)

This will be an intermediate level Jazz Dance workshop. Class will include:
•Warm up
•Plie and feet exercises
•Developpes and grande battement exercises
•Pirouettes and other turns
•Across the floor combinations
•Final dance combination

Dear Parents and Students,
I’ve decided to continue my maternity leave another couple of months to enjoy this precious time with my baby girl :)
I will keep you posted about the classes once I know the schedule, venues, fees, registration dates, etc.

Dance and Physiotherapy: SUMMER TERM CLASSES Hello and welcome! I am Tove Lojander, a dance pedagogue and physiotherapist from Finland, currently living in Doha, Qatar. This blog is a presentation about my work in the fields of dance and physiotherapy.

We have two weeks left of spring term at Garveys and at Starfish Lane. If you haven't reserved your place for summer term, please do that quickly - the classes are pretty full!

Ballet classes at Qatar Foundation started two weeks ago and will run until the end of June.
