Hi Everyone,

I hope this post finds you all well and wrapping up for a break over the holidays!

Apologies for being so quiet on social media over the past year! I am alive and well and have been spending my energy focusing on all the wonderful kids/teens and families that I have been working with directly and on my own growing boys this year and have neglected the online world.

Whilst social media is not where my passion lies I will endeavour to post more regularly in the new year to keep everyone up to date with things that are available to support and inspire our young ones.

In the meantime, take care of yourselves and each other and have a wonderful time with those you care about over the holidays!

Do you have an Intermediate Aged Daughter in Year 7 or 8 that could use a boost, a bit of support and a chance to learn important social emotional skills in a safe environment with other girls her age?

If so, please touch base as I have an intermediate aged girl who will like some company in coaching this term and is hoping to do paired or small group sessions.

Sessions will run on Wednesdays from 3:45-4:30pm from my coaching room at Bayview Community Centre on the North Shore.

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day and were showered with love and appreciation for all that you do for your children and families!

Of course, sometimes special days don't live up to our expectations, things don't quite go to plan or the day is otherwise tainted with grief, sadness or uncomfortable emotions.

If your Mother's Day wasn't quite what you hoped it would be know that you are not alone and do something extra special to acknowledge, appreciate and take care of yourself this week!

Sending all of you lots of love as you navigate the often challenging job of motherhood in all its forms!

Just a little reminder that whatever you are feeling today is ok!

If you are feeling a little bit out of sorts or drained or overwhelmed or have reached your capacity and your resilience is running low, how can you create space in your day to honour your feelings and care for yourself?

Do you need to make space in your day to rest?
Do you need to do something special to nurture yourself?
Do you need to connect with someone you love and trust?
Do you need to sing or dance or write or draw?
Do you need to spend some quiet time with a furry friend?

Finding ways to meet our physical and emotional needs is an essential way of looking after and honouring ourselves and is especially important when we have been navigating stressful situations or times!

How can you best honour and respond to your feelings today?

Help your daughter develop her inner strength and Girl Power with my Term 2 Girl Power Course!

Classe begin next week on the North Shore and I have a few spaces still available if you would like your daughter to join us.

Location: Bayview Community Centre, Glenfield - North Shore
Session Dates: Wednesdays from 4:30-5:20pm on 17 May, 31 May, 14 June & 28 June
Cost: $150.00 per term
