Our Kiwi Room children enjoyed a variety of engaging experiences today — creating colourful collages, exploring outdoors with hula hoops, and having plenty of fun in the sandpit.

Our Tui Room children enjoyed a wonderful day of outdoor play, painting, construction activities, and movement exercises. Through these engaging experiences, children are supported to develop creativity, coordination, problem-solving skills, and confidence - all while learning through play and exploration. 🌿🎨🧩💛

Strengthening little hands through play 💛

Our pēpi enjoyed exploring playdough and tools as they squeezed, pressed, rolled, and discovered new textures and movements. These simple yet meaningful sensory experiences help build fine motor skills, supporting the development of the small muscles needed for future everyday tasks and learning. ✨

The Tui Room children had a wonderful time engaging in a range of meaningful learning experiences last week. 🧘‍♀️✨

From calming yoga sessions that supported mindfulness and movement, to confident show-and-tell moments where tamariki shared their ideas and interests, each activity encouraged communication, creativity, and connection.

The children also enjoyed expressing themselves through drawing and exploring their imagination and problem-solving skills during construction play. 💛

This week, our little Kiwis have loved exploring our refreshed animal corner - complete with lights, new resources, and plenty of opportunities for imaginative play and discovery. 🐾✨

Outside, there was just as much excitement, with tamariki enjoying soccer, running races, and a range of active outdoor games together. From creative exploration to energetic play, every day brings new ways to learn, move, and have fun. ⚽🌿

Recently, our pēpi enjoyed a creative sensory art experience using paint stamping with their fingers and palms. As they explored colours, shapes, and textures, they also began discovering the unique features of their own hands - creating beautiful prints and meaningful moments along the way.

These hands-on experiences support creativity, sensory development, and early self-awareness through joyful play and exploration. 🎨✨

Through drawing and mark-making on the mirror, our curious pēpi are exploring creativity, building fine motor skills, and beginning to express themselves in their own unique ways.

Recently, our pēpi enjoyed a beautiful water play session, exploring shells and water with curiosity and joy 🌊🐚

They clinked the shells together, laughed at the splashes, and listened closely to the gentle sounds they made - such a calm and sensory-rich experience 😊✨
