Riverhills School

Past and present students, staff, whānau and members of the Riverhills community are invited to join us as we farewell our Principal, Sarah Allen on Thursday 2 July, 5.30pm at Pakuranga Intermediate.

We're looking forward to seeing Room 3&4 parents at our next Bright Beginnings workshop this Wednesday. Join us at 2.20pm for a session focused on Maths. Mrs Scott will share information about how we teach maths with the younger students, and give you some great ideas for how you can help at home.

Gagana Samoa 2026 involved singing songs, creating beautiful artwork and using Samoan words within our days at school. It was wonderful to see our Samoan students wearing their cultural clothing at school to finish the week. Fa'afetai lava to everyone who engaged and supported the celebration of Samoan language and culture this week.

We had a great time exploring Auckland Zoo yesterday. We learned about animal classification and how different animals’ features are suited to their habitats.
Thank you to all of our amazing parent helpers who came along and helped to keep everyone safe and cared for throughout the day.

We are holding our Term 2 open morning next Wednesday. Please come along and learn more about our school if you have a four year old. We will share some school information, walk around the grounds, visit classrooms, and answer any questions you have.

Talofa lava, it's Samoan Language Week and we're looking forward to using more Samoan words, and exploring some aspects of Samoan culture, at school this week.

Room 7 shared their learning about the solar system, and we all took part in a fun true/false quiz, at this morning's assembly. Ka rawe Room 7.
