There is a lot of research to support how great visual schedules are for children on the autism spectrum, as they are visual learners and verbal requests can often go unheard. I am a special needs teacher aid and have been using visual schedules in the classroom for over three years. More importantly, I am the parent of a child with autism and have used visuals in various ways in my home to help m

y child remember routines, and to break down instructions. As a mother to four children I can understand how difficult it can be to attend courses, or even spend time searching on the internet for information. Visual schedules are a vital resource for children but it can be difficult to know where to start, and at the beginning I would have loved for someone to come to my home and show me how! This is why I decided to start Go Visual, so parents and caregivers can learn to use visuals in the comfort of their own home.
