Thank you for your patience and I am so excited to finally announce the launch of

ASG: LEVEL 2 🏆🏆

-What is designed to be a regular occurring opportunity to practice the WHOLE JOB- Fulfilling your Acting To Do’s in a Script all the while “ Sounding American TO Americans “.

You find yourself now at the point know where you know the Standard American Dialect but could use some regular practice with a group of other Actors trying to figure out the same things? This is exactly what LEVEL 2 of the Advanced Study Group is all about!

Still the same format - The Group will meet Fortnightly, 3 Sessions for just $100 +GST, and each class will still be kept to a maximum of 8 participants. We will get together on a designated day where again you will have had one week prior to Prepare an Audition Script in the American Accent in its entirety:

“What am I being paid to make happen in this scene?”

With regular practice you will be amazed at the ease and clarity you will begin to experience in your Acting Preparation and Performance. After all, Practice makes Perfect 💪🏽👌🏽

The first step in Registration is to settle a Day/time for the class. I am providing three options again below, if you could please let me know which you prefer, can make, or cannot make at all. Once I have enough signed up we can begin. Here are my proposed Class Days and start Dates:

Thursday Evenings 6:30pm-8:30pm. August 2
Tuesday Evenings 6:30pm-8:30pm. August 7
Saturday Afternoons 1pm-3pm. August 11

It’s about that time...FINALLY! The launch of this season’s American Accent ADVANCED STUDY GROUP is here !
And with POWER RANGERS just now gearing up to begin another year of fabulous guest-artist and voice-work opportunities, the time is NOW :)

For the most part over the years during auditions I have noticed that a great many Kiwis possess a good general understanding of the American accent. This three part series is specifically designed to take your basic knowledge of the Standard American dialect and successfully fulfill Scripted Materials finally sounding “American TO Americans”.

This limited course will be divided into three, two-hour sessions over a course of a six week period. Our first ASG sessions will be on Thursday evenings, from 6:30pm-8:30pm at my Studio in Royal Oak. The FEE for the course is just $100+GST for the Set of Three Sessions.

Here’s how it will work:
I will send out a Script to prepare one week prior to our meeting. We will be working on a different piece of recently used American film/television Scripted Material each session to remain current. The set of THREE SESSIONS allows you to grow your skills over the course of the six weeks comfortably and most effectively. I am so excited to begin this experience with you all again, previous sessions of the ASG have been a lot of fun and hugely successful :)

I am keeping attendance for the ASG to a minimum per session to maximise productivity. This way each participant gets the most individual attention. If we have a lot of interest then I will just add other dates. I am aiming to begin our FIRST SESSION on THURSDAY, APRIL 26th*
