Congratulations to our students who attended a delicious pizza and donut lunch with the principal yesterday. They have shown our school values throughout the term and should be super proud.

Yesterday the students from Room 16 walked to Farm Cove Intermediate to use their Food Technology classroom. Using the butter they made by hand during their visit to the Howick Historical Village last week, they baked a batch of delicious scones. Of course, the highlight of the day was tasting their freshly baked scones with jam and cream! Thanks FCI for hosting us!

Last week, the Year 5 team time-travelled back to the 1850s when they visited the Howick Historical Village. The students made butter the old-fashioned way, attended a school session, and dug up items left behind by the Fencibles. It was a great way to bring our learning to life and help students gain a deeper understanding of what daily life was like for the early settlers in Howick.
