💗Happy Pink Shirt Day!💗
Last Friday, our campuses came together to stand united against bullying. From meaningful conversations to small moments of support and kindness, it was a beautiful reminder that creating safe and inclusive spaces starts with all of us.
Pink Shirt Day is about more than wearing pink - it’s about being an upstander, lifting others up, and making sure the people around us feel respected, valued and like they belong.
Shout out to our whānau for bringing the heart, kindness and community spirit that makes AKA what it is ✨

Kia ora whānau 💧
A boil water notice is currently in place for parts of Auckland - Hillsborough, Mt Roskill, Royal Oak and Three Kings following an E. coli alert.
This is a precaution to keep our communities safe while testing is underway.
👉 If you’re in these areas:
• Boil all tap water before drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth
• Or use bottled water
• Let water cool before use
Two public water tankers have been set up to help locals who cannot boil water.
The tankers are at 113 Duke Street, Big King Reserve and Hillsborough Park Carpark, Carlton Street.
E. coli can cause stomach illness, so it’s important to follow this guidance until the notice is lifted.
Take care, stay informed, and look after your whānau 💙

Big whakaaro, real impact 💙
Our students brought the Health Fair to life with thoughtful and creative displays highlighting important health issues affecting Aotearoa - from mental wellbeing to chronic conditions and community health.
This is what learning at AKA looks like - not just knowing, but doing. Turning knowledge into meaningful conversations and raising awareness where it matters most.
So proud of the passion, effort, and aroha our students put into this 💫
