Passionate, qualified, fun owners & teachers - inspiring a Life-long Love of Learning in children πŸ’š

In 1981 my husband and I set up our Centre here in the beautiful East Coast Bays in a house that was originally our first family home. It is warm and colourful, reflecting a homely atmosphere for children 2 to 5 years of age. We have created a fabulous physical setting that recognizes the need to be protecting of the natural environment, and we see on a daily basis how these rich surroundings form

Our little book worms thoroughly enjoyed the magical new reading nook today that our teachers have created. πŸ’« What a special and cosy
place to read with friends. πŸ“šWe also made book character decorations to hang on our little book nook tree. Be sure to check it out next time you're in if you haven't seen this new addition to our environment yet. πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š

Over the last few weeks, our Murrays Bay and Mairangi Bay community has been a hive of water pipe activity with new pipes being laid near the beach and old ones being repaired after a water main burst. This has been represented in the work our MBCC tamariki who have been very busy laying pipes in the sandpit! They have also been learning about water filtration and the importance of good infrastructure to ensure we have safe, clean drinking water through a science experiment where the children filtered their own water, reading books and drawing plans for underground pipe work in our community. What a fascinating learning opportunity this has been for everyone involved! πŸ’šπŸ’¦πŸ’š
