✨ Matariki at Meadowood Community Creche ✨

In celebration of Matariki, the Māori New Year, our tamariki have created their own korowai (cloaks), listened to Māori legends and stories, planted vegetables in our garden, made kai to share, and created amazing stars from Dukit (modelling clay) to represent the nine stars of the Matariki cluster.

The Results are in - We raised $4,786.50 at our Quiz Auction Fundraiser this year! We would like to say a huuuuuge thank you to all of our sponsors this year, without them this fundraiser would not have been possible, and all proceeds this year are going towards an outdoor upgrade for our amazing Creche Tamariki to enjoy. We truly appreciate all goods that were donated for this.

And to our amazing Creche Parent committee who worked so hard and also made this possible, we really appreciate you.

Save the date! Saturday 23rd May...The Creche Quiz Night is back!

Come along by yourself, with partner or make up a table of 8-10 friends/family and neighbours. There is a quiz throughout the night and lots of items and gift packs to make bids on. BYO drinks and nibbles. Free tea/coffee and cake.

Tickets only $20 or $150 for a table (8-10 people). Please ask staff at crèche to purchase. All proceeds go to crèche for children’s equipment and to upgrade the outdoor area.

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn; At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them." A time for gratitude and reflection.

In commemoration of ANZAC day tamariki collaborated making poppies with their artistic creations. Including purple poppies to honor animals who served and sacrificed during wartime.
