Our excellent academic record stands for itself, but Dio stands for so much more. It’s not enough to ‘know’ any more. That’s the Dio Difference.

We believe that education is an adventure involving creativity, imagination and discovery. It’s our job to foster and develop the skills every young woman will need to navigate this changing world.

We recently celebrated Boarders’ Week at Innes House, a wonderful celebration of the friendships, traditions and everyday moments that make boarding at Dio so special. 💙

From creatives challenges, bonfire with s’mores and roller-skating to a special dinner hosted by our Head Boarders, Boarders’ Week brought everyone together and celebrated the many experiences that make Innes House a home away from home.

Dio community, thank you 💙

To everyone who donated, shared our campaign, encouraged others to give or helped make Giving Day such a success – thank you. We are blown away by your support, with nearly $364,000 raised and over 850 donors!

Your generosity will help create more opportunities for talented young women through the Ko Tātou Scholarship Programme, opening the door to all that a Dio education has to offer.

And a huge congratulations to our 2026 Giving Day Champion House… Mary Pulling! 🏆🥳 With an incredible 156 donations, they showed an amazing amount of House spirit!

Thank you to every student, family, staff member and alumna who got behind the House Challenge and helped create such an incredible sense of community throughout the day. Together, we have shown what’s possible when our community comes together.

Thank you for helping open the door to a life-changing Dio education. 💙

Giving Day may be over, but the campaign remains open for one more week, with donations accepted until 8.00pm Tuesday 18 August. There’s still time to be part of this remarkable community effort before the campaign officially closes.

Every opportunity has the power to change a life 💙

For Lotosina, a scholarship opened the door to a Dio education. It gave her the confidence to embrace new opportunities, pursue her passions and discover strengths she didn't know she had.

Lotosina's journey through Dio was one of growth, service and leadership. She embraced every opportunity, contributing through music, performing arts and by proudly growing and leading the school's Pasifika Group into a vibrant part of Dio's cultural life.

It was this genuine commitment to others, together with the kindness and integrity she showed every day, that inspired our community to choose Lotosina as Head Girl, a role she led with heart.

Her story is a powerful reminder that when we invest in young people, they enrich our community in return.

This Giving Day, your support will help more talented young women experience the same opportunities through the Ko Tātou Scholarship Programme.

Join us on Tuesday 11 August as we come together to create life-changing opportunities for the next generation of Dio students.

Every gift matters. Every gift makes a difference. 💙
