Lest we forget

This morning we brought some of our tamariki to the ANZAC Cenotaph at Waikumete Cemetery. Our little ones placed poppy flower wreaths with their tiny hands as we paid our respects.

Throughout this week’s ANZAC activities, our tamariki have been learning about the true meaning behind ANZAC Day, courage, remembrance, and gratitude.

It was a meaningful and heartfelt trip for all of us. ❤️

Our Biggles tamariki have been on an exciting sea adventure all week. They met all sorts of ocean characters, playful sea creatures, a friendly mermaid, and of course, our tamariki’s favourite visitor, the baby shark!

Throughout the week, we also explored how to take care of our moana, learning simple ways we can help keep our ocean clean and healthy.
