Another meeting with a wide diversity of visitors. This was an Icebreaker evening with Icebreaker speeches from our newest member and (I won't use the word oldest) our most senior member in terms of membership. It's always great to get to know people

What a great meeting this week. 6 visitors adding to the diversity of the evening. Janet's session on effective speech transitions was fantastic. Even the more experienced speakers found it useful.

Welcome to Anja who joined Powertalk Waitakere last night.
It was a cold night so we warmed ourselves up with education and practice on impromptu speaking
Reviewing was the name of the game at last night's meeting. Janet did that with a vengeance by reviewing JD Robb's In Death series - all 59 of them.
A fun evening with an Out Of The Box impromptu speaking that our two guests Anja and Beng joined in
