Here’s a quick look at what events you can expect from COP this week, with more info & content to come on our socials.

This week we’ll be celebrating all things Samoan language and culture, and assessing this theme through the lens of some of our Samoan members and exec

Earlier in the week COP hosted our very first outreach with the year 12 & 13’s from Manurewa High School joined by TMP, APHI, PILSA, & SPIES and Tuākana.

As part of this initiative we had a panel discussion allowing some of the exec members to answer questions any of the students might have and it was so good to hear from each of the different faculties through a pacific perspective. Following this we also allowed for students to come and talk to us, ask more questions, take home some resources and enquire about associations and their studies of choice. It was amazing to see how interested and engaged the students were across all of our faculties.

We look forward to growing this initiative and seeing a lot of these students embark on their university journeys themselves. Thank you to these clubs for joining us as well as Manurewa High for having us and we hope to do this again. ❤️

FINANCIAL LITERACY RECAP📸

Last week we were so fortunate to have two of KiwiBank’s representatives come and talk to us about financial literacy through a pacific lease.

Thank you to everyone who came, we had an amazing turnout and trust everyone took home some valuable learnings.

While we couldn’t snap you all, we’re so proud to have been a part of your university journeys. We hope you’ll always remember your COP family and wish you all the very best as you enter the workforce or even spin it back for post grad🧐🧐
