We decided to extend Samoan language week and to wrap it up we wanted to do a Cultural dress up day this Friday 10th June!

We hope to see our tamariki wearing their beautiful cultural clothes 🌺

Eid Mubarak Future Stars families🌙

Today we celebrated the Muslim festival of Eid al-Fitr with a dress up day! All of the children and teachers looked wonderful and together we enjoyed dancing to Indian music, applying henna, and making coconut ladoo (sweet treat)!

Eid is a special celebration to signify the end of Ramadan (the month of fasting), and Muslim’s celebrate this by dressing up in their best clothes and gathering with family and friends for a large feast!

We love celebrating all kinds of festivals at Future Stars, and we love to see the children so eager to get involved💛

Today on Anzac Day, we remember all of the brave souls who fought for our freedom❤️
