Kids Connect - Early Learning Centre

Today we embarked on a vibrant journey celebrating Samoan Language Week 2026, and we'd like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ole and Mum Rachael for delivering a breathtaking performance and generously sharing the richness of your heritage!

But that's not all, Rachael, you're going to enlighten us all this week and guide us through the wonders of Samoan culture!

We are so looking forward to it!

Our preschoolers have been busy learning through play, creativity, teamwork, and real-life experiences!

Today was filled with painting masterpieces, team ball games, building imaginative cities with blocks, and even exploring stitching using real sewing machines under close supervision.

Through these experiences, our children are developing so many important school-readiness skills:

Painting encourages creativity, self-expression, concentration, hand control, and early writing muscles.

Team ball games build communication, cooperation, turn-taking, listening skills, coordination, and confidence.

Block play supports problem-solving, early maths concepts, spatial awareness, planning, and teamwork as children design and create together.

Stitching with sewing machines strengthens fine motor skills, patience, focus, independence, risk assessment, and perseverance while introducing children to real tools and real-world learning.

Most importantly, our preschoolers are learning to think independently, work together, express ideas, and build confidence in their own abilities — all valuable foundations as they prepare for school and lifelong learning.

Learning is most meaningful when children are actively engaged, curious, and having fun!

Warm sunshine, messy hands, curious minds, and joyful hearts ☀️🎨

This week our toddlers immersed themselves in a day full of exploration and creativity — painting under the warm sun, weaving alphabets and numbers with little hands and big concentration, and turning finger painting into full-on hand painting naturally and joyfully!

The children also lovingly created little houses for little chicks, showing imagination, care, and teamwork along the way

And of course… we can’t forget the cheekiness, giggles, and playful moments that are simply part of the magic of toddlerhood

Every experience this week was filled with opportunities to explore, discover, create, and learn through play.

Our babies are truly enjoying their environment — taking initiative to explore, create, discover, and experience the world around them

Through play and curiosity, they are giving things a try, building confidence, learning new skills, and most importantly… having fun!

Every little moment of exploration supports their growth, independence, and love for learning. Watching their wonder and excitement unfold each day is such a joy
