Thinking about taking the CELTA Course at Languages International?
Earlier this year, our wonderful student Amanda shared her experience of studying the course with us - giving her followers a behind the scenes look at what life on the Celta was really like, from the challenges to the rewards.
With a Celta programme that’s been running since 1988, we are proud to have helped aspiring English teachers begin their journeys for decades.
If you are ready to take the next step in your teaching career, we would love to hear from you. Visit our website or get in touch to learn more!

Autumn 🍂 is so clement still in Tamaki Makaurau that we decided to spend our free time outside in the sunshine. On Friday afternoon, we walked from the school up to the bridge along the marina called: Westhaven. It was easy, calm and flat all along. On the way back some of the students enjoyed some drinks in this wonderful place out of the beaten track called Squashbuckler’s .
We had great conversations and we really enjoyed our time together!

With the beautiful weather and amazing surroundings, we make the most of the environment we have and take the opportunity to have classes outside - like this Conversation class with teacher Fiona. Come and study at Languages International to experience what we have to offer!

Students went on a History Tour around Auckland City with our Historian teacher, Sir James.
Students got to see and be informed about many places and their history such as:
• The site of the Government House - once the centre of New Zealand’s political sphere until the house burnt down, and the new Government House was build down the road (in Parliament Reserve).
• History of the Pohutukawa tree planted in the City.
• Sir Johns Logan Campbell’s home on Anzac Road – a leading business man and later the Mayor, a great benefactor to the city.
• the waka prows which were installed along Beach Road to delineate the shoreline, prior to reclamation.
And the list goes on!

Sir James’s history walk is always a highlight for our students, and we’re already looking forward to the next one.

A big thank you also to teacher Paul for joining the trip and capturing such fantastic photos, giving us a wonderful glimpse into the experience.

Languages International brings English to life through creative, immersive experiences both in and beyond the classroom.
We are passionate about inspiring students to reach their full potential by learning in ways that feel engaging, dynamic and real.

A great example is our Grammar and Vocabulary class, who took advantage of the beautiful weather to explore the Auckland Art trail - turning the city into their classroom as they discovered art , shared ideas and practiced English in a meaningful setting.
