Kalandra Education Group

Kalandra Education Group Is a specialist healthcare training provider, focussing on improving the life of the vulnerable person.

Kalandra arose from a passion to improve caring, especially to the older person, and has since branched into other areas of vulnerability. Kalandraβ„’ Education Group aspire to become the β€œHarvard” of health care studies and a show case for exemplary aged care. We are improving and extending the capability of the healthcare workforce, developing and sharing innovative and quality training and demonstrating best practice within employment. Our intention to provide exceptional care to older people within a Day Care Centre, as well as excellence and diversity in studies provides the basis for Kalandra to become the world leader in this sector. The company was formed in 2016 by Dr Christine Clark and employs a team of experienced professionals with backgounds in health, business and a total of over 50 years experience in tertiary education. The focus on health, and in particular, on aged care, is in response to the findings of Doctoral Studies that Christine has undertaken. In a world dominated by an ageing society, there is a huge opportunity to create unique and much-needed programmes providing the caring that our older people deserve. The programmes and qualifications on offer demonstrate that care, respect and integrity are pivotal to everything that Kalandra stands for. We invite you to become part of the Kalandra Education Group family as well. Be part of this learning and exciting journey, where love and gratitude are the foundation for a rewarding present and future. Kalandra Education Group is a new institute and therefore has not yet had an External Evaluation and Review (EER) and therefore has not had a Category rating issued by NZQA.

🌏 Strengthening Global Partnerships to Address Aged Care and Workforce Challenges

Kalandra Education Group recently had the privilege of hosting a delegation from Nanjing Medical University to discuss workforce development and the growing challenges within aged care internationally.

The delegation visited, where shared insights into public-private healthcare partnerships and delivering complex care within rural New Zealand.

The group also toured, gaining valuable insight into innovative aged residential care and community living models.

Special thanks to and for their generosity and hospitality.

By sharing knowledge, innovation, and educational capability across borders, we can contribute to stronger healthcare systems for the future.
