Healthcare Tutor – Part Time
Kalandra Education Group is looking for an experienced healthcare professional to join our team as a Healthcare Tutor, teaching our international students face-to-face at our Grafton campus.
This role is initially 4 days per week (32 hours), with the potential to increase to full-time (40 hours) as student numbers grow.
About the role
You will:
• Deliver face-to-face healthcare classes
• Support students with their learning and assessments
• Monitor student progress
• Support and visit students on clinical/workplace placement when required
• Work alongside our wider academic and student support team
About you
We're looking for someone with:
• A Level 4 or higher healthcare qualification, or equivalent
• Experience in the New Zealand healthcare sector
• Knowledge of areas such as aged care, dementia, mental health, disability support, community healthcare or diversional and recreational therapy
• Great communication and people skills
• Basic computer skills
• A current NZ driver's licence and reliable transport
• The legal right to work in New Zealand
Teaching experience is an advantage, but isn't essential. If you're an experienced healthcare professional who enjoys mentoring, training or helping others learn, we'd love to hear from you.
