A small group of our preschoolers recently visited two of our local schools, providing them with an exciting glimpse into what awaits them on the next phase of their learning journey. The children enjoyed exploring the classrooms, meeting some of the teachers, and participating in fun activities organised by the schools. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to experience a new environment, interact with older students, and become familiar with the concept of school, all while having a fun and enriching time. This also gave us the chance to connect with our local school communities.

Our over 2's had the opportunity to visit Hoani Waititi Marae, connecting with our local community. This exchange showcased the diversity of cultures and emphasized the significance of whakapapa and personal stories within Maori culture, enhancing the children's experience.

We have been having a lot of fun here at Happy Kids Parrs Park. We were fortunate to have Old MacDonald's Mobile Farm come to visit us. It was a wonderful day that was thoroughly enjoyed by all the children here at Happy Kids.

We’re open all Matariki long weekend! Bring the kids and get a little crafty! From Thurs-Saturday 11am-1pm, they can decorate their every own 20cm wooden star! We’ll have all the supplies set up in our beautiful Treehouse theatre. (Remember to bring Mum or Dads old shirt as a paint smock!)

At Happy Kids we strongly promote healthy eating. Preschoolers need to eat foods from all four healthy food groups – vegetables+ fruit, grain foods, dairy and protein. Healthy foods have nutrients that are important for growth, development and learning.
