“Invention is the mother of necessity” as the saying goes!!
Last week in Wellington we “beamed” our Auckland based locked-down trainer, Sarah, in to lead our live class in Benefits training. All feedback to date has been very positive about the format. Our delegates still got to gather all together for social interaction and learning discussions which are such an important part of training, and while fully virtual training allows for this, we appreciate it is not quite the same when online. The exams were still held as part of the course but moved to online.
Feedback from this class includes:
“I really enjoyed Sarah's approach to training - she is enthusiastic, extremely knowledgeable and supportive…. The zoom presentation worked well”
“I love how Sarah operates. She makes the material so interactive that the learning almost comes by stealth. Positioning the context in the real world makes it so much easier to understand. I would always seek Sarah as a presenter if possible. She is awesome.”

While there is more reliance on technology and our wonderful venue staff, we will certainly consider this for more classes where our trainer is unable to join in person but the class can gather and enjoy the environment away from work/home distractions.

Kia ora! We are operating as usual but monitoring closely the situation on the North Island, New Zealand. Presently none of our courses are affected. We will be in touch if you are booked to take training with us that will be affected by any updated requirements. Generally if the training location is under Lockdown stage 3 or 4 leading up to the course, this will move to our Live Online virtual format. Take care!
