🚀✨ Space, here we come! 🌞🪐

We are so excited to begin learning all about space! A huge thank you to Carter’s older brother, Cooper, for sharing his amazing Solar System model and some fascinating space facts, inspiring our little explorers to dive into learning about the Sun.

We have been exploring plasma through jelly and recreating solar flare “explosions” with balloons during our meeting times. We cannot wait to learn more about the Solar System! 🌎💫

We explored what makes a healthy dinner plate! 🍽️ The tamariki enjoyed sorting foods, sharing their ideas, and learning how to build a balanced meal filled with colourful fruits and vegetables, proteins, grains, and dairy. What a fantastic way to support healthy eating habits while building confidence and knowledge around nutrition! 🌽🥕🍗🍎

We tasted different veges, discovered some new favourites, and investigated the many colours, textures, smells, and shapes they came in. To finish off our learning, we worked together to make our very own delicious vegetable soup 🍲 It was such a fun and hands-on way to learn about healthy foods! 🥕🥬🥦🌽🧅

Our little artists explored gorgeous autumn colours through butterfly prints, discovering how each side mirrors the other in the most magical way. 🍁🦋🍂

We had such a fun time reinforcing our learning by deciding together whether each food was a fruit, vegetable, or meat/protein. 🫛🥕🥦🍗🥓🥩🍓🍍🍌🍋🍏

💛🐰 Our tamariki have had so much fun exploring different shapes, and pretty pastel colours as they brought their bunny artwork to life. From fluffy tails to twitching ears, each piece is full of personality and imagination. 🐰💛

We had so much fun diving into the world of spectacular spinning spiders! 🕷️✨ Our tamariki explored these fascinating wee creatures (pungawerewere), creating their own amazing spider artwork while learning the most interesting facts.
