Vaia*o o le Gagana Samoa at Papatoetoe North School

A huge thank you to Fibre Fale for delivering an inspiring and engaging session for our Samoan Bilingual Unit, Fanau Mo le Lumana'i (FMLL). The interactive experience ran seamlessly and provided our students with valuable insights into the world of technology and innovation.

We were privileged to hear from Namulau'ulu Eteroa Lafaele, who shared her expertise in software development and introduced her book, Ete Fixes the Glitch. Through her story and personal journey, she encouraged our students to dream big and consider future careers in technology, including becoming Pacific software programmers.

Most importantly, FMLL were reminded to believe in themselves, persevere through challenges, and remain patient and determined as they work towards achieving their goals. Her message was both empowering and inspiring for our future leaders.

Fa'afetai tele lava i lau afioga Namulau'ulu Eteroa Lafaele. Fa'amanuia le Atua i le taleni ua ia foa'i ia te oe, ua ala mai ai fa'amanuiaga mo FMLL.

Papatoetoe North School’s Samoan Bilingual Unit, Fanau Mo le Lumana'i (FMLL), celebrated Vaia*o o le Gagana Samoa with a range of fun activities and games. Captured here are moments of joy, laughter, and excitement as our students took part in the Tauvaga ‘Ai Keke (Face the Cookie Challenge).

At Papatoetoe North School, one of our key aspirations is to nurture happy, healthy students who are confident in their identity and able to enjoy success as themselves. This celebration was a wonderful example of our students embracing their culture, language, and learning in a positive and engaging way.

E āfua mai i mauga tetēle le manuia o le nu'u / From the high mountains are the blessings of the village.

Manuia tele le Vaia*o o le Gagana Samoa.
