Looking back at our Presenters Platform Weekend Workshop ⚡️

I first attended the Presenters Platform as a Miss Auckland Finalist in 2023, and being given the opportunity to participate again as a Miss New Zealand Finalist for 2024 left me beyond excited! 🥰

Paulus' workshops are truly enriching. During the workshop, we explored a few different areas: the art of communication, strengths and weaknesses, and presenting and speech. Each of these helped lead us on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. We connected on deeper levels and came out of the workshop with new perspectives and a sense of strength and confidence in ourselves and each other.

Despite only meeting for the first time back in January, we, as a group of girls, have formed friendships and bonds that we will cherish not just during our time in both Miss New Zealand and Miss Auckland but also outside of pageantry. This was a huge weekend that I'm grateful to have been a part of. It opened my mind and gave me the best of friends. This is what pageantry is all about: coming together, growing together, lifting each other up, and building lifelong friendships. ♥️

I want to express my gratitude to Miss New Zealand, Miss Auckland, and Meg Kenney from The Pageant Store for providing us with a weekend of empowerment. I know we will all take these learnings and use them in our lives in one way or another. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to continue making a difference and become the woman we are today. 💫

The Presenters Platform has been such a fantastic workshop!
It has definitely brought all of us girls from Miss NZ and Miss Auckland closer together. While learning about ourselves and building on our self-esteem we also learnt vital public speaking tips on how we present ourselves. Preparing us mentally and emotionally for presentations/interviews, and we learnt how to acknowledge and manage the anxiety that comes with putting ourselves out there. It was overall one of the most beneficial experiences I have had.
