Today we remember and give thanks to all servicemen and women, past and present, for their courage, sacrifice and service. We also acknowledge our local Navy community here in Devonport and the important role they continue to play.
Lest we forget 🌺
Families wishing to attend can join the Devonport ANZAC Day parade from 10.30am, with the service at 11am. There are also several other local services taking place around the area today.
A meaningful opportunity for tamariki to learn about remembrance, gratitude and community.

Messy Play Week at Takarunga Playcentre 🎨💦
Take a peek at what messy play really looks like, splashing, squishing, pouring, mixing and creating. It might look like fun (and it absolutely is!), but it’s also rich learning in action.
Through messy play, tamariki explore with their senses, test ideas, solve problems and build confidence. This is all part of Mana Aotūroa, our Exploration strand of Te Whāriki, where children learn by experimenting and making sense of their world through hands-on experiences.
If you’ve been curious about visiting Takarunga Playcentre, this is your sign ✨ We welcome mums, dads and all whānau with children aged 0-6 years to come and join us.
Our sessions run Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00am to 12:30pm.
