Tongan Language Week highlights at Awesome Kiwis childcare.

Pajama day at our centre setting brings cozy comfort and exciting change. Our tamariki wore their favorite sleepwear and they brought their beloved stuffed animal. They enjoyed their day with fun games ,relaxing activities warm milo and cookies.

At Awesome Kiwis childcare we regard birthday celebrations as important milestones that fosters a child's sense of belonging, build self -esteem and strengthen a community belonging where every child feels uniquely seen,valued and connected to every one where they play and learn.Wishing our baby Elina a happy first birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈

Kiribati language week was celebrated at Awesome Kiwis childcare through traditional artifacts,storytelling and music. At our centre we strive diligently to fulfill our responsibilities to uphold the kiribati identity and culture through celebration.

Cook Island celebration with our beautiful tamariki and kaiako. Opportunities of cultural language week celebration opens a lot of different ways for children to connect, embrace and explore the culture with others.

The participation in Matariki celebrations has proven to be a valuable experience for our tamariki, whanau, and kaiako, fostering a sense of community and shared appreciation for cultural heritage. This experience provided children with the chance to develop significant resources alongside their peers, whanau, and kaiako. This year's theme of matariki is all about inclusion and encouraging all people to celebrate matariki together.

We observed Samoan Language Week at our centre, bringing together whanau, tamariki, and teachers for a celebration that provided meaningful learning experiences, motivating children to explore and understand Samoan traditions.
