What an amazing day at Kelmarna Community Farm! 🐓🌿
Our tamariki had a wonderful opportunity to connect with their local community, learn about farm animals, and explore the natural environment. A huge thank you to our amazing whānau volunteers and dedicated kaiako for supporting this special excursion.
It was heartwarming to see children confidently engaging with the farm, making discoveries, and building meaningful connections with the world around them. Experiences like these help strengthen our local curriculum and foster a strong sense of belonging within our community.

What a lovely way to celebrate Aotearoa Book Day this week! ❤️ It was wonderful to see our pēpi bring along and share their favourite pukapuka.

We love seeing their growing interest in books, stories and music. Early literacy starts early through listening, exploring, singing and sharing stories together. 🎶📖✨

We're excited to introduce Manu, who joined our team at the beginning of this year, bringing with her over 10 years of Early Childhood Education experience across Christchurch and Wellington.

Manu is passionate about building strong, meaningful relationships with tamariki, whānau, and our teaching team. Her philosophy is simple: put children at the heart of everything we do, while nurturing the people around them.

Manu believes in creating environments where children can thrive, explore, and grow with confidence and independence. 💚

our wonderful Fern Room Lead Kaiako. 🌿 With nearly 30 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, Suzy brings an incredible depth of knowledge, warmth, and passion to our learning environment.
Suzy’s teaching philosophy is built on love, respect, and trust, creating strong, meaningful relationships with tamariki and their whānau. She is passionate about supporting children to grow into confident, capable, lifelong learners, helping each child feel valued, empowered, and inspired every day. ✨
