Sorry everyone but, til my cataracts are fixed, I'm just not able to see well enough to be here.
I will be back when it's sorted.... might be a while, I'm on a waiting list that could be up to a year long... well... 10 months from now.

There are more wild cats than you think.

Most people picture lions and tigers and stop there. But the wild cat family is stacked with secret legends. The jaguar has the strongest bite force of any big cat and can crush turtle shells like crackers. The clouded leopard has fangs so long compared to its skull that it is often called a modern saber tooth. Wait what. The black footed cat from Africa looks tiny and cute but is one of the deadliest hunters on Earth with a hunting success rate around sixty percent. That is higher than lions.

Then you have specialists. The fishing cat actually swims and dives to catch fish. The caracal can leap nearly ten feet into the air to swat birds mid flight. The Pallas cat survives brutal Asian winters with thick fur and a grumpy face that hides a master ambush predator. From the snowy Eurasian lynx to the mountain climbing Andean cat high in the Andes these felines rule forests deserts mountains and wetlands. Big or small every wild cat is built for stealth speed and precision. The jungle has many kings and queens.

Familia de coatíes (Nasua narica) entre la selva baja, recorriendo caminos en busca de pequeños insectos, frutos, huevos, pequeños vertebrados y hasta carroña.

Las hembras y crías viven en grupos de 10 a 30 individuos; los machos adultos suelen ser solitarios.

Son excelente para los ecosistemas ya que controlan poblaciones de insectos y dispersan semillas.
