Congratulations to our new 2023 Student Leaders who attended their inauguration ceremony last night!
They were selected for their school and community spirit, their work ethic, kindness and resilience, and their general positive disposition and attitude towards school life. Our student leaders are an integral part of school life at AJHS - they emulate our school values and we're so proud of their achievement! Well done!

At AJHS we're needing to look at long-term onsite storage solutions at school, for items such as outdoor education gear, furniture etc.

If you or someone you know has a contact in the container industry (or some other weather-tight storage solution that can be onsite), we'd be very grateful to be introduced.

Or if someone no longer needs their container and wants to donate it to school, that would be amazing!

Gala Day has sadly been postponed.
Unfortunately we have had to make the hard decision to postpone our Gala Day this weekend, Saturday 12th November.
Although this Saturday might be clear, the rain before Gala Day has made our school field unusable.
We are postponing until Saturday 4th March, 2023. Please mark it in your calendar!
We look forward to seeing you all in the New Year when the sun is shining bright and the ground is nice and firm!

As a past student of Albany Junior High School, we’re very excited to announce the development of our AJHS Alumni Programme!

This programme is designed to create a sense of community that extends beyond the school gates and school years. We are really interested in your life journey and want to keep in touch with you!

The programme will include:
- 2 Alumni eNewsletters per year
- This Alumni specific page (please follow and contribute)
- Invitations to various events including musicals, gala days, fundraisers, golf days etc.
