Our tamariki are loving time in the family area, exploring, collaborating, and building strong connections. Through this play, they are developing confidence, creativity, and communication skills. It’s wonderful to see the rich learning happening as they share ideas, solve problems, and enjoy meaningful moments together in a warm, supportive environment truly.

Creativity, imagination, and hands-on learning in action!

Our Pūkeko tamariki were busy exploring, creating, and expressing their ideas through meaningful play. We love seeing their confidence grow as they experiment, problem-solve, and bring their unique creations to life.

Watching our Tui tamariki work together while building is a beautiful reminder that learning happens naturally through play. This is where tamariki learn about teamwork, and creativity. As our tamariki are sharing there ideas, solving problems, and encouraging one another, they are developing confidence, communication, and critical thinking skills. Every block placed and every challenge overcome becomes a part of their learning journey. These moments show the power of collaboration and the joy that comes from creating something together. So much growth, discovery, and imagination happening in one simple activity.
Miharo tamarki ma!!

This week was filled with creativity, teamwork, and hands-on learning as the tamariki explored a variety of activities. They enjoyed using clay to mould and create imaginative designs, experimented with paint in a bottle to express their ideas and emotions, and worked together to build a seesaw using construction materials. Through these experiences, the children developed fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, communication, and cooperation. These activities encouraged curiosity, creativity, and confidence while supporting learning through play in a fun and engaging environment.

Books, friendships, and little conversations 📚✨
Our tamariki in the Pukeko Room enjoyed choosing their own stories and sharing the joy of reading together. Moments like these help build language, confidence, and social connections in a warm learning environment.
