Playing with shredded paper is fun! There are objects hidden in the shredded paper that the children had to find but they also couldn't resist throwing it around!

It's raining outside but it's warm and cosy indoors ❤

Cooking a meal can be so enjoyable, especially when you make a meal with friends. There is so much learning that goes on plus you get to eat the results!

Gloop!! This activity didn't go to plan because someone added more water to the mixture and it became too runny but .... it was still fun and still filled with great learning experiences.

Threading beads ... the beads had letters on them to add to the fun!

Art is so much fun!! Art is important for children's sensory development and language development. It is also important for their creativity, imaginations and good for problem solving!

Children enjoy the carpentry table. Today (Wednesday 21st) they hit nails in to a cardboard box. So much easier to do than hitting a nail in to wood. Fun too, as the nail goes in quite quickly!
Water play is perfect for hot sunny days. The children also enjoyed cleaning the paint trays and paint pots and brushes in the water trough.

Art ❤ encourages children to explore their creativity, imagination and self expression which can boost their confidence and emotional well being.

Puzzles are so much fun to do especially if you do them with friends! Doing a puzzle improves hand and eye co ordination and fine motor skills. Enables children to extend their thinking skills such as remembering, matching, sorting, recognising and problem solving.

Play is vital for children, it is their work. It is how children learn, and how they work out who they are and where they fit in the world.

This Friday is our children's Christmas party. Please can you bring a Santa gift for your child/ren by tomorrow, 14th December. Can the gift be up to the price of $10 and named. Please hand it to a teacher so it can be put safely away for Santa to hand out.
As not many parents are able to stay for the party please don't feel you need to bring a plate of food to share. Can your child bring their lunch box as normal. Thank you!
