Thank you to everyone who supported Epilepsy Awareness Day.
Children can begin to understand epilepsy in a safe and supportive way through storytelling and imaginative play. By sharing simple stories about characters who have seizures, teachers can help children learn about what epilepsy is and who can be affected by it .
Through role play, children can practice kindness, empathy, and how to respond if someone needs help. These activities help reduce fear and build confidence, showing children that differences are okay and that everyone deserves care and inclusion.

Our Junior and Preschool room children had a wonderful time exploring Auckland Zoo.
