Empowering Student-Led Initiatives: Green Office Toitū

Under the guiding philosophy of taking career development into their own hands, a group of proactive Applied Management learners has formed the working committee to lead Green Office Toitū in sustainability and networking.
Here's an insight into the roles that are driving this initiative:
• Nenie: Co-lead of GOT, supervising the operations and working alongside Aush.
• Anu: The social media Voice. Anu has stepped up as the social media specialist,
• Aush: The Workshop Coordinator. Aush plays a critical role in helping to coordinate the workshops that are a cornerstone of the GOT initiative.
• Syamila: The Networking Champion. Syamila is at the forefront of finding and encouraging participation in networking events related to sustainability.
• Teresa: GOT intern student. GOT newsletter content creator.
• Vanessa: GOT industry volunteer. Newsletter designer.
• Keshav: Assist Syamila in developing the GOT network.

Kickstarting Block 1 with an Eco-Friendly Edge:
Green Office Toitū Info Event

The event convened by Green Office Toitū, an organization dedicated to sustainable development and environment protection. Featured various lectures sharing personal perspectives and actions to advance these causes.
One lecturer’s immersion in the environment protection industry served as a significant catalyst, bolstering students’ confidence in pursuing related careers. The discussion underscored the commitment of participants toward environmental sustainability, highlighting diverse approaches and initiatives. This convergence of voices emphasized the importance of collective action and innovation in addressing environmental challenges.
The meeting served as a platform for exchanging ideas, fostering collaboration, and inspiring meaningful action within the organization and beyond. Overall it reflected a shared commitment to advancing sustainable development goals and promoting environmental stewardship among stakeholders.

🌿✨ Exciting News from GREEN OFFICE TOITŪ! 🌿✨

We just wrapped up our "END OF BLOCK EVENT" and it was a smashing success! 🎉 We had the pleasure of hearing from some incredible individuals who shared their experiences and insights. Here are some highlights:
🌱 Our internship student, Vivi, took the stage to talk about her amazing journey with Green Office Toitu. 🌍
🤝 Our dedicated GOT volunteers shared their heartwarming stories of their interactions with us, showcasing their passion for sustainability. 🌏
🌳 Project Showcase: We were blown away by the incredible work done in the "Aureate Reforestation" project, the insightful "Carbon Footprint Assessment," and the cutting-edge "Data Science for Sustainability." 📊
And last but not least, let's give a warm welcome to our new interns for the next block, Sudheesh Manoharan and Prabhsimran Kaur! 🌟

Join us for the Emerging Visionaries: Tertiary Learner Sustainability Symposium on the 31st of August at our OPAIC Campus! This symposium aims to inspire and empower students to take action toward a more sustainable future by showcasing eight shortlisted research projects submitted by passionate learners.
🏆 We're thrilled to announce that 8 outstanding projects will be shortlisted from submissions to participate in the event. Each shortlisted participant will receive a certificate and a token of appreciation worth $50. And that's not all – the top three projects will be rewarded with cash prizes of $300, $200, and $100, respectively.
