Alhamdulillah, we have an inspiring lineup of brothers from different areas of da’wah who will be sharing their experience and knowledge on giving effective da’wah and equipping ourselves with the skills needed to fulfil The Call. From practical approaches to personal development, this retreat is all about growing together and becoming better callers to Allah.

A weekend of learning, brotherhood, and inspiration awaits. Very exciting to be part of this journey.

Alhumdulillah, at Play and Learn session, Yusuf did a wonderful presentation on the 6 pillars of faith. We discussed the creation of Allah and His names and attributes. We each planted some seeds and we will learn to look after Allahs creation.

Play and Learn sessions will run every alternate Sunday from 10am - 12pm.

By the blessings of Allah, We had a successful brothers’ hike at Wairoa Loop Track🌿

A reminder that brotherhood is built in and outside the masjid and it also strengthens through shared experiences, meaningful conversations, and reflecting on the signs of Allah in His creation.

An Islamically aligned 5 week emotional wellbeing workshop for Muslim women and youth, focused on understanding emotions, building healthy coping skills, and strengthening connection with Allah through reflection, sabr, tawakkul, and practical wellbeing tools.

Alhamdulillah, MIYC’s Open Day last weekend was a great success. We welcomed many non-Muslim guests to the masjid and Dawah Office, where they came to learn about Islam, experience the Voice of Islam VR Dawah system, enjoy the sisters’ try-on hijab & henna station, and share in the free sausage sizzle and refreshments.

The highlight of the day was witnessing one guest accept Islam. Allahu Akbar! May Allah keep them firm upon the truth and reward everyone who volunteered and attended.
