Happy Mother’s Day to ALL the mums! The bonus mums, mother figures, caregivers, grandmas, aunties and wāhine holding it down behind the scenes 🤍
This 'job' isn't linear. Some days feel beautifully chaotic, some driven by cold coffees, and “MUM, MAMA, MAMAAA” on repeat 😅 But aroha always outweighs the madness.
A little extra love to my own mum and 'babies' for making me a mum and teaching me more about patience, resilience, perspective… and functioning on broken sleeps!! You’re my biggest motivation and my greatest adventure.
Hope today feels gentle, appreciated and full of love in whatever way Mother’s Day looks for you 🤍

Not always the quiet “mum workout” I picture but honestly, this is what it’s all about.
A little time-lapse of my nippers jumping in at the She-Shed...because they want to be here. To PLAY...to have a go.
Real talk though: I've got my parenting flaws. It's no secret that I love my solo workouts or that I prefer not bringing them to mahi lol. There are moments I catch myself scolding them or making them feel like they’re in the way🫣. My delivery can come out sharp when I really mean to set a boundary.
But this right here is my reminder.
Letting them see me train, move, show up (even when I'm feeling flat)… and letting them be part of it. That’s how they learn.
If they grow up seeing movement as normal, fun, and part of everyday life… then I’ve done something right. To provocate, and not to discourage💛
Goes without saying but yeah, I'm pretty proud of these two.
