Ko 'etau hiva, ko e fe'unu mahu'inga ia ki he mo'ui 'a e Tonga.

🎶 Our music is a vital strand of our Tongan culture! 🇹🇴❤️

What a special time sharing the power of music in our learning and community!

We were lucky to have young Tongan artist General Fiyah join us with his grandfather to share how music has supported his family. We learnt how music can help us connect with our Tongan language, lift us when we feel down or lonely, and teach others about our beautiful culture.

A huge mālō ‘aupito to our young brass band group, many of whom are our current students, and their father, Mr Latū, for leading us today with our beautiful hymns. 🎺🎶

Music connects us, strengthens us, and keeps our culture alive! ❤️

Have a wonderful week everyone! 🌺

🚲🌟 WHEELS DAY!

Looking back at last term, we loved celebrating Wheels Day, a fun day filled with learning, laughter and lots of wheely good experiences!

A very special thank you to our wonderful supporters who gifted us 10 refurbished bikes, which were given to some of our deserving tamariki.

It was beautiful to see the excitement on their faces and the joy of having a bike of their own.

Learning, sharing, riding and creating special memories together!

🌺 Celebrating our Language & Culture! 🇨🇰

Our language and culture are a big part of who we are, where we come from, and who we will become.

Last week, we proudly celebrated Cook Islands Language Week with the beautiful 2026 theme:

“Me kite koe i te tuatua i to’ou reo tupuna, e turanga rangatira tena nō’ou no te uki amuri atu.”
✨ With our language as our foundation, we will embrace the future.

A huge meitaki maata to everyone who got involved and helped make the week so special! 🌺

👏 Thank you to our amazing team who led the celebrations, and to all our parents and families for your wonderful support.

Our language. Our culture. Our identity. Our future. 🇨🇰❤️

What a great way to finish Term 1!

On the last day, our School Community Policing Team put on a sausage sizzle and pool party for our tamariki with top attendance.

We’re doing fun things like this to encourage our kids to come to school every day, because every day matters.

Big thank you to Constable T and the team. The kids loved it!
