💛✨ A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Amazing Families ✨💛

👕🧸 When we first set our goal of collecting 15 sets of pyjamas, we never imagined the incredible response we would receive. Thanks to the generosity and kindness of our wonderful families, we received 26 sets! 🎉👏

🥰 We are truly overwhelmed by your support. Your donations are more than just pyjamas – they are gifts of love, care, and community spirit. 💕 Together, you have shown our children the power of kindness and what it means to help others. 🌈

🎬🍫 To celebrate our Pyjama Day, the children arrived in their cosiest pyjamas and enjoyed a special movie afternoon with warm hot chocolate and fluffy marshmallows. ☕🤍

🍊🌿 We also picked fresh grapefruits from our garden to share as a late afternoon snack. The children were so excited to harvest and taste fruit they had watched growing! 😊

💛 Thank you for helping us create beautiful memories and for showing our tamariki what a caring community looks like. We are incredibly lucky to have such supportive families. 🫶

We have a lovely Baby Room with three fully qualified teachers – two very experienced senior teachers and one energetic, creative young teacher. Our administration and management offices are attached to the baby area, so the teaching team always has an extra pair of hands when needed.

We are welcoming more babies to join us! 👶We have a super-sized outdoor playground for children to explore🗺️, as well as a semi-covered outdoor area, so babies can enjoy fresh air and outdoor play all year round, even in winter, without getting wet.

It’s been a sunny week all week☀️! We headed to the park twice and enjoyed picnics there with sandwiches we made ourselves 🥪We loved sharing these trips with our volunteer parents and student teachers. Thank you for your support and enthusiasm!

As part of our commitment to nurturing New Zealand’s little learners, we are excited to be partnering with Kindness Collective to support the PJ Project this year 💛

We will be collecting NEW pyjamas at our centre, which will be gifted to children in need within our local community. You can:
✨ Drop off pyjamas at our centre (collection box located in Jas’ office on the Tui side), or
✨ Donate online using the QR code provided on the door

All donations will be distributed directly by Kindness Collective’s regional support team, and we are proud to be a registered drop-off location!

As we move into winter, June brings cooler weather but plenty of exciting learning opportunities for our children.

🌏 Pacifica Language Weeks
We will continue celebrating Pacific Language Weeks, with a special focus on Samoa. Children will explore culture, language, and traditions through meaningful activities.

🎓 Transition to School Programme
Our programme continues to grow stronger, with engaging experiences led by Nilmini and Kal. We are also preparing a school information display wall for both children and parents—more details coming soon.

🥪 Lunch Box Day
In our Kiwi room, Lunch Box Day would be extended every Thursday - Children will learn to make their own sandwiches and build independence. You don’t need to prepare anything, we will update you more information.

🍽️ Menu Update
We are continuing to improve our menu balance, adding more variety while keeping favourites like pizza day.
