School holidays call for a little extra fun! 🦒🌿

Our centre teams love getting creative, and BestStart Gillies Ave took imaginative play to the next level with their very own Safari Animal Kingdom! 🐊🦓

Tamariki grabbed their safari tickets, vests, cameras and binoculars before following paw prints to track down the animals. Along the way, they crossed a crocodile-filled stream, helped giraffes with their spots and pieced together animal puzzles.

With tamariki taking on the roles of animals, park rangers and safari visitors, this was imaginative play in full swing! 🐾

🌿😊 Exploring, discovering and connecting with our community

Recently, our under 2s from BestStart Lakeside Village enjoyed a wonderful walk to Lakeside Park, where they explored nature, practiced new physical skills and took in the sights and sounds of the world around them.

From watching birds and listening to community sounds, to climbing, balancing and discovering leaves and insects, every moment was an opportunity for learning and growth. These experiences help our tamariki build confidence, develop a sense of belonging, and form meaningful connections with the people and places around them. 💚
