Our children enjoyed a range of fun and meaningful activities centred around Father’s Day. They explored how to say “Dad” in different languages, listened to songs and stories about fathers, and created special crafts and gifts for their loved ones.

Mabuhay! Our tamariki had an amazing week celebrating Filipino Language Week! 🇵🇭✨They explored traditional games like Tumbang Preso and Tinikling, danced their hearts out during Zumba and street dance, and learned more about the beauty of Filipino culture. These activities didn’t just bring joy — they also supported coordination, balance, rhythm and confidence. Such a colourful way to celebrate diversity and learn together. We thank all our Filipino families for contributing to this special celebration, especially Mummy Luisa for sharing a Filipino storybook with all our tamariki. ❤️🇵🇭✨

Last week we celebrated Samoan Language Week by exploring Samoan language, culture, songs, stories, and traditions. Our tamariki loved learning new words and phrases, taking part in cultural experiences, and embracing the values of respect, kindness, and community.
A big fa’afetai tele lava to our whānau for your support — your involvement helped make our celebration meaningful and special for the children.
We truly enjoyed honouring the rich culture and heritage of Samoa together as a centre. 💛
