Fridays are for our little chefs 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Each Friday, our tamariki get involved in making their own morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

From preparing ingredients to helping serve the kai, children practise responsibility, independence and teamwork through a meaningful everyday experience.

Best of all, they feel incredibly proud to share what they have helped create when they get home.

Even our whanau love seeing the excitement and confidence the Friday Kai Programme inspires.

Our School Readiness Programme helps tamariki build the confidence, independence and everyday skills they'll need when they start primary school.

Through play-based learning, hands-on experiences and real school visits, children become familiar with new routines while developing the skills that help them thrive.
