Hey whanau, I met this beautiful young singer yesterday. She came in with her family for the free lesson. And omg! Shes a soprano singer. I'm looking forward to working with her next week. Her voice is so angelic, watch this space whanau. Fantastic lesson.

Morena beautiful people. You may not know it, but I've spent the last 30 years as an actress in the film and television industry hustling for work, and l never made it to the red carpet until last night.

I was invited to attend the premiere for a NZ Maori film that's about to come out. Two of my girls were on this film they both work in lighting. This is my moko on the left, my girl Jazzy who works in lighting, and this guy I had never met before who happened to be the director of the film. So it was quite funny how this all played out. It sort of happened out of the blue, and I ended up on the red carpet, only because of them.

So I just wanted to say a big shout-out to Jazminda Wirihana & Danyelle Wilson. Thank you for the amazing invite. Life has a way of rewarding you with blessings when you know you've paid your dues.
