Today we were so blessed to have a wonderful music teacher visit Trinity 🎵🎶
The children loved singing, moving, playing along, and exploring music together. These special experiences help build confidence, creativity, listening skills, and a love of learning through music.
It was also extra special because her son was once one of our Trinity children and is now 8 years old. 💙 It is always so heartwarming to welcome back members of our Trinity whānau and see the wonderful journey our tamariki continue on.

🚒✨ Let's Become Familiar with Our Community! ✨👮📚🎵

Over the next two weeks, our Rising Stars tamariki will be learning all about the amazing people who help make our community a safe, caring, and connected place.

We'll be welcoming some very special visitors to Trinity Kindergarten, including a librarian, police officers, firefighters, and a music teacher! Through these real-life experiences, children will build confidence, ask questions, explore different occupations, and discover how each person plays an important role in our community.

These visits provide meaningful opportunities for children to develop a sense of belonging, learn about helping others, and understand that everyone has unique gifts and talents to share.

A huge thank you to our wonderful community members for giving their time to inspire our tamariki—we can't wait to learn from you all! ❤️

💜 The World is a Better Place With You In It 💜

Over the next two weeks, our tamariki will be exploring the beautiful message that God made each of us wonderfully unique and special.
We'll be learning about friendship, kindness, respect, resilience, patience, love, and caring for others. Together we'll discover ways to communicate our feelings, build positive relationships, and celebrate the wonderful differences that make each of us who we are.

We'll also be exploring the Fruit of the Spirit and how we can show these qualities every day at kindergarten, at home, and in our community. ❤️

We can't wait to share this meaningful learning journey with our Trinity whānau!

🔢 Maths is Everywhere! 🔢

At Trinity Kindergarten, our Rising Stars are beginning an exciting two-week journey into the wonderful world of early mathematics!

Through songs, movement, playdough, shape hunts, counting games, and hands-on exploration, our tamariki will be discovering that maths is so much more than numbers—it's about thinking, problem-solving, recognising patterns, and making sense of the world around them.

We'll also be introducing mathematical vocabulary, exploring shapes in both English and te reo Māori, and encouraging children to notice maths in their everyday play.

Research shows that strong early maths experiences build confidence and lay important foundations for future learning—and the best part is that children learn best when they're having fun!

We can't wait to share this learning journey with our whānau over the coming weeks.

🌟 Rising Stars Explore Māori Maths! 🌟

This week our Rising Stars tamariki are embarking on an exciting journey into Māori Maths, learning through stories, culture, counting, and play.

At Trinity, we believe learning is most powerful when it is meaningful, engaging and connected to our bicultural heritage. We can't wait to see our tamariki discovering maths through storytelling, imagination and fun!

💚 Ka Hikitia – Kia Maia – Kia Manawanui – Kia Kotahi 💚

📖✨ Over the next two weeks, we will be embarking on a special journey through our A–Z Bible Affirmations.

Each day, the children will discover a new letter and a positive affirmation based on God's Word, helping them to build confidence, kindness, faith, and a strong sense of who they are in Christ.

What a privilege it is to be able to share these powerful truths with our children and encourage them to speak life and positivity over themselves. We can't wait to see them grow in confidence as they learn that they are loved, valued, and wonderfully made by God. 💛
