Our tamariki have a passion for creativity and enjoy self expression.

Our experimentation and self expression through the use of ice and paint took us on a journey into the wonders of freezing, melting, liquids, mixing, blending and creating fabulous colours, patterns and masterpieces.

Playdough – Paraoa poke💜

Our tamariki love expressing their creativity through different materials and mediums. We love the wonders that playdough provides us.
This sensory experience encourages us to investigate, think, problem solve and make exciting discoveries.

Our garden provides us with different textures and smells that we use when moulding and manipulating to express our thoughts and creative thinking through the use of playdough.

Collage – Mahi toi 💜

Our tamariki love experimenting with different resources discovered through nature to express their creativity and ideas.

The use of natural resources allows our tamariki to explore the world around them, investigate all their senses, encourages creativity, knowledge of designs, patterns, problem solving, while strengthening concentration skills and confidence of their own ideas.

The wonders of Playdough – Paraoa poke💜

Our tamariki absolutely love the opportunity to create, construct, and express their creativity through playdough.

Petals and objects from the garden provide us with a multi-sensory experience and engagement with the world around us.

Our tamariki investigated, explored, and exhibited their creativity, self-expression, and imagination.

Rā (sun) is shining!☀️

Our tamariki are enjoying the beauty of spring as rā shines on us.

“Is that a mango?” or “is it an orange?”
Our tamariki curiously spot and investigate our loquat tree beginning to fruit.

So exciting! We can not wait to explore the deliciousness and uniqueness of our loquats once they are ready for picking. 🍃
