HRH The Earl of Wessex is Chairman of Trustees of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation and previously chaired the International Council for the last 17 years. He is a Gold Award holder and is also a Trustee of the Duke of Edinburgh International Award – United Kingdom.
Kids meet Greyhounds Day! NZTA and ONE Camp invited some selected kids and their parents to meet with those lovely retired Greyhounds in Western Springs. It was a fun day learning about the dogs and having a play with the them. Thanks to Goerggie for bringing the dogs. Thanks to everyone for making donation toward the dogs!
Today was the final day for this group! The kids in this group were a lot younger but they were quite brave for this adventure in the forest! They learn about Kauri dieback, brushing and cleaning shoes before and after entering the forest! They completed their task of identify native plants which they learned in last couple of days, also testing soil conditions with a experiment kits! What a full on day! They were so happy to receive ONE Camp certificates at the end of the programme!
