💛✨ WHEN A COMMUNITY COMES TOGETHER, MAGIC HAPPENS! ✨💛

Today, our incredible Learning Adventures Airport Oaks whānau and team came together for a very special cause — Bake A Wish! 🧁🍪💫

And WOW… what a result! 🥹🙌🏽

Together, we raised an incredible $700! 🎉🎉🎉

This amazing total was made possible through the generosity of our wonderful whānau, who donated, purchased goodies, spread the word and supported us throughout the day. Every single contribution, big or small, helped us reach this incredible milestone. ❤️

A huge heartfelt thank you to all our whānau who generously brought along baking. The time, effort and love that went into every cake, cookie, slice and sweet treat was truly appreciated. 🧁🍪💕

And to our incredible Kaiako — thank you for working so hard behind the scenes, baking, preparing, organising and making today such a success. Your dedication and team spirit were absolutely amazing! 🥹🙌🏽

Today was about so much more than a bake sale. It was about manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, kindness and giving back. 🌺🤝🏽

Most importantly, it was an opportunity to show our tamariki that when we come together as a community, we can make a difference. 💛

We are incredibly proud of our team and our amazing whānau. The aroha and generosity shown today was truly special, and we are so grateful to everyone who played a part.

We are so excited and honoured to announce that Learning Adventures Airport Oaks will be hosting our very first “Bake a Wish” Bake Sale! 🧁💙

This special event is about coming together as a community to support the incredible work of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, helping bring hope, joy and unforgettable experiences to children facing critical illnesses. ✨

We warmly invite all our wonderful whānau to come along, purchase some delicious treats and support this very special cause. Every gold coin donation and every contribution, big or small, can help make a difference. 💛

To our whānau who use our van service: although your tamariki arrive and head home with us via the centre van, we would absolutely love for you, our whānau, to pop in and support us on the day if you are able to. Even if you can only stop by for a little while, your presence and support would mean so much to us as we come together as one centre community for this meaningful kaupapa. 💙

And if you would like to support us even further, we would be incredibly grateful for any baked goods you may wish to donate towards our Bake Sale. 🧁🍪🍰 Whether it’s cupcakes, cookies, slices, cakes or any other delicious treats, every donation will help us raise even more for this wonderful cause.

Our Little Kiwis tamariki have been busy exploring the wonderful world of writing and art using simple materials — paper and colourful pencils! 🖍️

Through drawing, scribbling, mark-making and creating their own little masterpieces, our tamariki are developing confidence in expressing their ideas while exploring different ways to use art and writing mediums as well as it helps to refine their fine motor skills.

It is beautiful to see their creativity unfold as they experiment with colours, lines, shapes and patterns, all while having fun whilst learning and sharing through play.

Every mark tells a story! 💝

This week we proudly celebrate Cook Islands Language Week 2026, embracing the beautiful language, culture, traditions, and values of the Cook Islands. 🌺 Through meaningful experiences, music, stories, and creative activities, our tamariki are learning to appreciate and celebrate the richness of our diverse communities. Our tamariki had an action-packed day as part of our Holiday Programme, celebrating the excitement of sport! Some of them proudly represented the All Blacks and their favourite football teams, dressing up, playing fun matches, and showing fantastic sportsmanship.

From scoring goals to passing the ball and cheering on their friends, everyone at Learning Adventures - Airport Oaks had an amazing time building confidence, coordination, and friendships through play.

A big thank you to our wonderful tamariki for bringing so much energy and enthusiasm to the day and to our whānau for supporting our centre's programme.
What a fantastic way to celebrate the joy of sport together! 🖤⚽🏉
