How Pacific Trade Invest New Zealand's funding support is empowering Indigenous entrepreneurs!

The Ka Hao team knows firsthand the challenges Indigenous entrepreneurs can face when trying to break into the global market. That's why we're grateful for the funding support from PTI NZ, which enables us to provide valuable training and resources to Indigenous entrepreneurs in the Pacific like Mackenzie Koteka.

Mackenzie, who hails from the Cook Islands, runs Te Winery Extractors, Distillers, and Cook Islands Chocolate Factory. With PTI NZ's support, he's been able to access our digital skills eCommerce training program and take his business to the next level. The Ka Hao eCommerce programme provides hands-on training in areas such as social media marketing, website design, email marketing and more, all tailored to the unique needs of the individual Indigenous businesses 💻

Thanks to funding support like PTINZ's, we're able to offer this program to Indigenous entrepreneurs throughout the Blue Pacific, and we look forward to continuing to support Indigenous businesses in the Pacific over the years to come.

Enabling & empowering Indigenous entrepreneurship in the Papua New Guinea 🌏

Meet Stephenny Migi a busy multiple business owner from Papua New Guinea, she currently owns and is currently learning how to grow her online Fashion & Retail business. Like many Indigenous entrepreneurs, Stephenny faces challenges when it comes to expanding her business and reaching a wider audience. Through Ka Hao, Stephenny has been able to access hands-on training in designing her online business, gain an understanding on how to grow her audience to make more sales and has recieved expert 1-1 and peer group learning on how to create an eCommerce system that consistently converts these sales. All this knowledge combined with indepth learnings essential to growing her business online.
