Happy Wednesday 5th August 2026
This week we are celebrating Cook Island Language Week. Today our children are exploring Cut-Outs in several ways. Cutting practice: support tamariki to cut around the shapes
Colouring and decoration: This allows our children to explore them as they wish
Learning Outcome: tamariki will practise and develop essential fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and scissor skills through this hands-on activity

Our Bunnings -Takanini trip was so exciting for our Tamariki. We purchased flowers and vegetable plants. When they saw metal insects, they asked if we could buy them. So we got a ladybug and a lizard along with gardening tools. Later in the afternoon, some of our tamariki did planting. Ka Pai!

Kiora Whanau

Our tamariki made their own fruit salad today for morning and afternoon tea. Some of them brought fruit to share with their peers. They are learning to share, take responsibility for their own learning, and collaborate with others.

Kiora Whanau We continue to stay busy and play with our favourites and explore other things.
