This week, our tamariki are exploring ways to combine resources and create different structures. At mat time today, we explored colour blue and triangles. They pretended to cook with blue playdough and traced triangles on blue paper and cut them out to paste. They can identify that a triangle has three sides.

How fun was it for our tamariki creating their Earth collages with paper plates, while also learning about recycling and practicing fine motor skills by sorting out rubbish ♻️🗑️

Our tamariki enjoyed learning and engaging in creating poppies for Anzac Day through collage in arts and crafts ❤️

Yesterday our tamariki explored science activities and they learnt about their five sense. Our focus was tasting something sweet, salty, sour and tangy.

Today our tamariki did the Easter egg hunt. This activity encouraged them to follow instructions, share, and enjoy their chocolate egg. Have a happy Easter weekend and take care.

This week, the weather has kept us indoors, and our tamariki have been busy exploring with their peers. We have different activities on Easter too.
