🇳🇿 In honour of NZ Sign Language Week (4th-10th May), we have a special post to help you communicate with your patients from the Deaf community! 

Did you know?
NZ sign language is one of New Zealand’s official languages and is used by around 25,000 people, according to the 2023 NZ census.

This post just touches on the basics of NZ sign language but we hope it motivates you to spend time learning more NZSL words and phrases!

Hi everyone! My name is Coral, and I am one of your Part II reps. I’m so excited to be a part of MISA this year and hope to meet everyone at the events. I applied for this role because I love the idea of being part of a community of people who share the same passion as me, and I want the Part II cohort to grow much closer through MISA.
