Achillea has backed up another successful weekend in the US with an awesome performance at the NewBreed World Jiu Jitsu Championship in Orlando, Florida.

🏆 Gold – Gi 🥇
🏆 Gold – No-Gi 🥇

What a trip it’s been for Achillea! She’s competed at multiple events during her time in the States, taking on tough competition and continuing to test herself on the international stage.

We’re incredibly proud of the way she’s stepped outside her comfort zone and embraced the challenge.

Now it’s time to enjoy the rest of the trip, get back home to NZ and see what’s next. 🇳🇿🥋

🇦🇺🥋 WHAT A WEEKEND FOR VICTOR & SONIA!

Two of our Daredevil athletes, Victor and Sonia, made the trip across the ditch to compete at the Australian Nationals this weekend, putting themselves up against some seriously tough opposition.

With 3,017 athletes competing over three days, it was a massive event and a great opportunity to test themselves against some of the top gyms in Australia.

🏆 Sonia — 1st Gi 🥇 | 2nd No-Gi 🥈
🥈 Victor — 2nd No-Gi | Just missed the medals in Gi

Both put in some awesome performances and showed what they're capable of when they step outside their comfort zone and go looking for tough competition. That's what it's all about. 👊

We're bloody proud of you both! 🙌

Now it's back to training, with both athletes looking ahead to the Pan Pacific Championships and Asian Kids Championships.

We’re closed today as our Daredevil whānau comes together to farewell Rob.

There are moments when words just don't feel like enough.

Our Daredevil family is heartbroken by the passing of Rob.

Rob wasn't just a Daredevil parent - he was family. His love for his kids was undeniable, but so was the love and passion he had for our entire team. Whether it was at training, on the sidelines at competitions, or travelling with us on international adventures, Rob was always there. His unwavering support, infectious enthusiasm, and booming encouragement lifted everyone around him.

The mats won't feel the same.
The sidelines won't sound the same.
Our Daredevil family won't be the same.

Our hearts are with Violet and the kids during this incredibly difficult time. We want you to know that you will always have a home at Daredevil. We will continue to stand beside you, just as Rob always stood beside us.
