Centre Manger- Full time- Dawson
Creative Garden is an emerging group of centres with existing centres in Papakura, Otahuhu, Mangere and a newly acquired centre at 100 Dawson Road Otara/Flat Bush. The centre has been custom designed to provide beautiful indoor and outdoor areas for children to play, learn and explore the world around them. This state-of-the-art centre is licensed for 80 children with three rooms- Infants, Toddlers and Preschool providing incredible environment for both teachers and children.
We are looking for an experienced Centre Manager, who is passionate about working with children and ensuring systems are followed, Leading the team, building relationships with families and community, and ensuring the delivery of quality education and care for children. You may also be a Head teacher who is looking to step up towards the new journey.
A successful candidate must have the following attributes:
*High level of knowledge in programme planning and assessment *Ability to build relationship with colleagues, children and families. *The ability to record children's assessment and knowledge around self reviews. *Able to work collaboratively within a team. *Has a warm and approachable attitude that will positively impact staff, children and their families/Whanau. *Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills

As our Centre Manage, you will have:
B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
Experience in leadership, mentoring and supporting others to reach their potential.
A passion for building authentic relationships with children, families, and staff.
Excellent communication skills; writing, speaking, and listening.
Self-management skills; planning, organising, time management.
Sound knowledge of child development, program planning, internal evaluations
Excellent knowledge of ECE legislation and MOE requirements
A comprehensive understanding of how to maintain occupancy levels.
